Welcome all!

A brief intro. My name is Lim Sin Thai and I have created this blog to share my experiences. I am a photographer so I want to make this a visual blog.

I forsee that most of the entries will touch on the sporting spirit; therefore the blog title 'Faster Higher Stronger' (Citius Altius Fortius in Latin). This is the Olympic motto of the modern Olympic Games founded by Pierre de Coubertin (1863-1937).

I have always been fascinated by the spirit of sports and I enjoy looking at sports pictures. When I took up photography, I wanted to be able to shoot decent sports pictures.

Sports documentaries like those on Olympic legends have moved me.

For a start, I am putting some pictures I shot at the Asian Athletics Championships 2005. Liu Xiang is of course the most recognisable face among the Asian athletes.
