Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road) came in second in the C Division National Inter-School Water polo Competition 2007.

The final standing: Hwa Chong Institution (1st), ACS (Barker Road) (2nd), ACS (Independent) (3rd) and Raffles Institution (4th).

ACS (Barker Road) principal, Mr Ng Eng Chin, spoke to a visibly disappointed team after the competition. He advised the boys to learn from the experience and to come back stronger in future tournaments.

While the team did come in a commendable second, ACS (Barker Road) C boys' coach, Mr Kuah Kar Huat, feels that the captain of the team, Rishi Shankar Pandey, is probably the top player in his age group. "He has natural ball sense," says Mr Kuah.
