A Rugby 2010 Final: ACS(I) vs RI

ACS(I) lost 3-11 to Raffles Institution in the keenly-contested A Division Schools’ National Rugby final.

The Rafflesians scored two penalties and a try to triumph over the ACSian’s solitary penalty.

Although trailing throughout the game, the ACSians kept fighting but just could not find that little extra to turn the game around.

”Our knock-ons and the penalties killed us,’’ said ACS(I) captain Don Koh, “Raffles played better and they capitalised on our mistakes.”

Although disappointed, the ACSians took the defeat against a good RI team in their stride.

ACS(I) vice–captain Colin Lee said: ”Raffles was able to come up tops when it mattered. Although things did not go our way, I am proud of the team. There’s nothing more I can ask of them.”
